Daytona Harley Davidson Motorcycle Drill Team

The Daytona Harley Davidson Drill Team began in May of 1994. The members of the drill team were chosen for their desire to promote safe motorcycling, to promote rider skills as well as good will for the sponsoring dealer, Daytona Harley Davidson. The drill members have more than a total of 300 years of riding experience. A number of them have over 50 years by themselves. Member ages range from 38 to 72 and they all ride. All but 1 are proud grandparents. The Drill team features Harley Davidson motorcycles from 1997 to 2008 dresser models, owned and maintained by each individual member. The drill consists of over 52 moves with an X in the middle of the course, no radios are used. The choreographing of all the moves is a team effort. These moves are precisely executed by riders whose skills make these 900+ pound machines look like child’s play. The drill team makes itself available for functions such as charity runs, nursing homes and convalescent facilities, Parades, conferences, rallys or conventions both in the motorcycle community as well as the general population. It is our hope that this positive and safe image of motorcycles will provide an alternative picture for those not previously familiar with the sport of motorcycling. The Drill teams major one project is the Boggy Creek Camp. All of our efforts go to this worth while Camp
